 The initial therapy session serves as an evaluation, though it will feel like a collaborative conversation. Our goal is to understand what has led you to seek therapy and determine the most effective ways to help you. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the factors contributing to your present concerns, you will be asked about your current concerns, their duration, your upbringing, family history, and relationships.

 Keeping our meetings every week is super important for us to work well together and build trust. This will help you see gradual progress and celebrate your progress.  Furthermore, when facing challenges, we can immediately refocus on your progress and help you feel empowered. Based on your progress, we will reassess the frequency of sessions.

The length of time it takes to see results from counseling sessions with Authentic Minds Counseling varies depending on the individual and the issues being addressed. Some clients may see improvements after just a few months, while others may require longer-term therapy.

Authentic Minds Counseling provides counseling services for individuals 18 years or older.
